Leigh Harrison is the CEO of the Ziya Training. As a strategic designer and coordinator of learning and development programmes Leigh has built a successful business by working with innovative partners. In this way she remains current with material and methodologies such as providing Ethical Leadership Training and skills required in the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Leigh has been facilitating groups in personal, team, leadership and business development for nearly thirty years. Leigh is the leading distributor of The Dealmaker Company programmes, and she heads up WISDOMS™ - a centre for personal and business success. The results have been realised in large multi-million rand deals being closed quicker and more profitably, as well in significant personal and work goals being achieved, and teams working more productively together.
Leigh’s client base includes prominent corporate business, SMEs and Not For Profit organisations. Clients include Anglo American, De Beers, Shell, British Telecom Global Services, Dell and Linklaters.
In 2006 Leigh co-authored a book that was published in South Africa and the United States, where it has done particularly well.
Leigh has a sound academic background having completed an undergraduate degree at Rhodes University and a Master’s Degree (cum laude) in Linguistics at the University of Stellenbosch.
Leigh’s career began in leadership development for community organisations. She has focused on the development of interpersonal as well as intrapersonal communication for a number of years. Leigh built a regional organisation, training over 700 people in active listening skills over a three year period. Invited to address conferences Leigh has spoken to groups from 100 to 500 delegates. As a consultant Leigh has facilitated the formation of new boards and created network opportunities for business owners to develop and grow their companies.
Aside from her enthusiasm for business, Leigh is passionate about travelling and has visited every continent with the exception of South America and Antarctica! She enjoys the support of her husband and two adult daughters.
